This contract provides of the improvement of I5 in Snohomish County, MP 18.10 to MP 189.21, South Everett Freeway Station 112th Street SE, by clearing and grubbing, removing two concrete bridges, removing guardrail and barrier, roadway excavation including haul, pod excavation, embankment compaction, storm sewer and watermain systems, utility relocation, two new bridges with prestressed girders, structural earth walls, precast noise wall, paving with HMA ½ inch, cement concrete paving, erosion control, landscaping, curbs, sidewalks, cast-in-place pedestrian and traffic barriers, precast barrier, beam guardrail, illumination, a signal system, intelligent, transportation system, permanent signing, channelization, surveying, traffic control and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications.
This contract includes the upgrade of the entire 43-acre Terminal 30 (T30) for year-round container cargo use. This includes in-water work to upgrade 1,545 linear ft. of dock T30 and replacing the existing creosote-treated timber file fender system with a rubber fender system. This project involves mechanically dredging approx. 59,000 CY of material suitable for unconfirmed open water disposal.
